Fudge is the only purple shampoo/conditioner that I use. With the shampoo I’d say you only need to leave it on for 2 minutes as a time as it takes really quickly and neutralises brassy tones. If you’re wanting a more silver look I’d say 5 minutes does the trick - any longer and it does add a purple tinge to your hair (mine is platinum blonde so very porous). Does an amazing job though, I use it once every two weeks or so and it keeps me platinum. Just be careful when putting a towel on and make sure the shampoo is completely washed out as it stains! You will also have purple tinged fingers if you don’t work quickly but it does fade fast! In regard to the conditioner, i usually use this every time I wash my hair as it isn’t quite as strong as the shampoo but still helps neutralise those brassy tones. I usually use this conditioner with the damage rewind shampoo also from Fudge. Highly recommend for blondes but get the 1litre bottle off here instead, better value for money and lasts you ages!

You need only a small amount of product so it will last. Colour is discreet & bluish rather than purple. Gentle. Does not leave your hair dried out & full of static.

I had my second blue balayage recently. The first blue highlights faded within a couple of weeks. But this time I had this Fudge colour reviving conditioner to help, and now, six weeks later, you can still see the ice-blue highlights in my ash blonde hair. I leave the product on from 5 - 10 minutes and rinse it out well. I use it in the bath (I like to read a book in the bath for 10 minutes) and it doesn't stain my hands, the water or the bath. It leaves my hair very shiny and soft. I prefer sulfate and paragon free hair products because I have seborrheic dermatitis. This conditioner does not offend my scalp, which is the best I can say about anything.

For the price point, I think overall this is a good product. It definitely lifts your colour, and you don’t need to use it every wash to do that (in fact, I feel it could make your hair too lifted if used more than required). However, I don’t really feel like it gives hair much moisture, and therefore my hair feels quite brittle still. Pros: Does a really good job of lifting colour Cons: Hair still feels quite dry after use, so doesn’t really help with moisture/softness

Thank God for this conditioner! When even a so called toner did nothing, this conditioner saved the day! 2 washes and all the orange brassy tones were gone! And unlike other do called purple conditioners it actually leaves you hair really soft!

I’ve been using this for years and it’s the best you can find. It can be slightly drying so make sure to do a good mask after using it. Sometimes I mix it with a conditioner, put a cap on my head and sleep with it on. The end result is perfectly toned and moisturized hair. This will always be my go to.

used a few purple conditioners, some do not have the toning ability that this has. Don't leave on too long as it can hold on dry hair, which can make it go slightly purple... it will fade out after a few washes. Great for removing the yellow color or orange reflect in hair.

Fabulous conditioner, wouldnt buy any other product Fudge really looks after your hair, no more tangles or knots, well worth the money
