I bought this to sell a portable air conditioner that had a damaged hose.
I bought this to substitute for the damaged exhaust hose of a gray (Sharpe) portable air conditioner. This worked great and was even of higher quality than the original. I did this to sell the thing, and the buyer was very happy with the whole purchase.

Perfect replacement
This was the second time that I purchased this product from this company. The first one fit perfectly and worked great. So I bought this product again for my second portable AC. Installed and worked as expected. I highly recommend to anyone who needs the same hose

Careful if you have screw-on adapter ends
The item is missing a crucial detail from the description. It has a left-hand, counter-clockwise, wind. If you have an adapter that screws on the end, the winding direction is very important. Otherwise the hose was well made, sturdy, a terrific replacement. The seller refunded immediately and was very prompt. Shipping was fast.

Fit almost perfectly on a Whirlpool acp102pr2 Portable Room Air Conditioner (easy adaptation)! Since the exact diameter of the exhaust hose for this product seems to be a highly-guarded top-secret fact (looked/searched everywhere - not even Whirlpool could tell me) ;>), it was nice to get something that was exactly what it said it was so I could at least guess!

Close but no cigar
Shape air conditioner model CV-P10RC, great cooler and very quiet. Hose is starting to fall apart so looked into OEM but the cost was very high, $154 plus shipping. Ordered this hose, 5" and found out it did not fit correctly. Diameter needs to be 5.25 inches. Keeping it but will need to use duct tape to make it work. Also the material is very light compared to OEM hose.

Clockwise vs CounterCW matters
Verify which direction hose screws into a/c unit. It is either CW or CCW. No matter what you read hose is not both. You can not simply flip it over. Made that mistake trusting another review. Product was great!
