I have had this robot for a few months now and it has spent over 100 hours cleaning my pool, so I wanted to share my experience. I have to say, this works better than I feared. I was worried that it wouldn't have enough "power" to do a decent job cleaning or result in a short battery life. I do have things that I wish were different, but overall, I am glad I bought it and I am happy with it. Pros: Seems to do a good job cleaning the pool in general. The app has good functionality- including different cleaning modes and the remote control to get it to come to the side when it is at the surface. The battery lasts longer than I would have guessed - I set the robot to do a 2 hour cleaning and it uses up less than 40 percent of the charge. When I set to max time cleaning, it can last well over 4 hours. Cons / Areas I wish were different: 1) Our pool has a bench along one side, circle shaped stairs int the corner and also a 2 level small seating / exit stir in the deep end corner - I wish is did a better job getting into the "corners and crevices" - when it climbs the stairs, I don't see the suction / bottom of the unit or the brush really getting everything... and there is some fine dust / debris left on the surface of the bench and the deep end climb out as well as in the corners by the steps. 2) because wifi doesn't work under water (not the fault of this unit, just a fact), there is no app or remote functionality while it is under water. 3) I wish it had a way to customize it more - for example, if it had a general layout of my pool in the app, I would love to give it areas (like the steps and bench) that I could have it focus on. Or, I would love there to be a mode that was high power (shorter battery life, but even higher power vacuum). 4) While it has a good battery life, I really wish that I could leave this in my pool for a week and have it run every other day without needing to be charged. It has a mode that allows it to run every 2 days, but the battery doesn't last a full week... and that isn't the more robust cleaning mode that I wish. I was a little nervous to spend this much money on a wireless robotic cleaner - my worry was that it wouldn't do a good enough job (it would have low power because it is battery powered) or that the battery would not last long enough for the robot to give our pool a good cleaning. But, I am happier than I expected to be. It does a good job cleaning and the battery lasts a long time. It isn't perfect - I really wish is did a better job on the trickier areas where the pool changes levels... and that I could really customize the specific areas where I want the robot to deep clean. Bottom line: I am glad that I bought it and I am a happy customer.

More than expected! First the delivery was days earlier than quoted which was fantastic as my 2 other smaller robots were barely cutting the job together (batteries died after 2 hours, areas completely missed). I had high hopes for this more expensive robot to finally clean the entire pool in one session. After a small battle to get it on my wifi ( needed to manually add it to allow a full 3 minute connect time before timing out and failing which the auto connect kept doing) It was set off to start clean ing my "lagoon style" pool which consists of 3 identical circles offset. The unit slowly sank to the floor, span around like it was checking the dimensions of my pool and started to scrub slowly but perfectly. It was half the speed of my cheap robots but was doing a better job at each pass. The best part was the junk floating on the top was all collected after 4 hours and the water looked amazing. My pool has never been so clean!

I unboxed the Beatbot AquaSense 2 Pro (robot vacuum, charging dock, instructions, etc.) in minutes from it's neatly packed box that kept everything safe for delivery. The front and back soft-rubber roller brushes are a full 12 inches wide, and those outer treads drive the robot forward. At each corner, small guide wheels keep it from wedging itself in tight spots. It was fairly easy to map the floor and clang to the walls well thanks to the app. It vacuumed up sand, leaves, a couple of bugs very easily. Two hours later it surfaced on its own and floated to the shallow end for easy retrieval. I pulled it out, gave the filter a rinse, set it on the dock, and it was back at full charge in under an hour. Surface skimming is the one miss. It bobs around, but specks and bugs still float afterward. I wish it had spinning flaps like a dedicated surface cleaner, since that feature was the main draw for me. Cordless freedom and solid floor, wall, and waterline scrubbing are game-changers. 4.5 stars, though, at over $3,000 it’s a definitely a premium buy. If this thing lasts 5+ years, I’ll consider it money well spent for something solid and only time will tell.

Love this machine, I love the fact it comes to the surface to retrieve instead of trying to fetch it from the bottom of the pool. It makes cleaning the pool a breeze. I find it gets all the fine dirt that is currently happening due to Reno’s in the yard. I love that it also skimmers the top of the pool so making it an all in one machine is perfect!!

This is a top tier robot pool vacuum that can clean every part of your pool. It does the floor, walls, surface, and can even help remove particles and debris floating within the water. It's equipped with a front-facing camera and multiple sensors which allow it to map your pool's layout similar to how a Roomba vacuum works. It supports multiple zones so you can configure the program for each area individually. Setup and programming is simple via the user friendly app. The build quality on this is top notch. It's quite a bit larger than any other robot pool vacuum that I've used and it has much more capacity for debris which is nice. It has scrub brushes for cleaning the walls and floor as well as bottom suction which sucks in debris and also helps it stick to the walls. The box also comes with a hook for retrieval, a charging dock, and a clarifying agent kit. The thing is a literal tank and uses tank treads for movement haha. It's not the quickest if you're cleaning your entire pool but it will save you lots of time over the warm months that you can spend doing other things. The battery life is more than adequate for a full clean in a large pool and in fact you can probably get at least 2 full cleans from the 13400 mAh battery. Once it's done running it's program, it will return to the surface and dock at the pool edge all by itself. I've only used it once so far but it picked up almost all of the noticeable debris that I could see. If you use it regularly, it will be more than adequate in keeping your pool tidy. Oh and I forgot to mention the water clarification. When you toggle on water clarification, it will use a bit of the stuff in the water clarification kit and release it into the water. Somehow this stuff helps to latch onto small particles and pull them down allowing the robot to suck it up, thus making your water more clear. It's also eco friendly apparently. Overall, if you have a pool and the extra money to spend, you won't be disappointed with this purchase. It'll pay for itself over time depending on how much time you normally spend cleaning the pool.
