Would these be ok for playyard or do you think they would get brittle staying outside?

They're pretty thick and plyable so they'd be OK for a long while. I think it'd be better in the shade tho

Yes they are different heights. They are very sturdy and well made. My grandkids love them.

As per description: "Can withstand weights up to 110lbs."I would say a petite adult can safely stand on them, but not use them on a regular basis. They are made for children.
