The color is a little too red to look natural on my shade brown hair so it makes my scalp look inflamed. It also stained my shower wall when i leaned my head against the wall. I think something about it mixing with water caused it to stain because it came out of my clothes and off my hands just fine. That aside, it smells good, had a good texture and does work well as a dry shampoo. The application is fine.

This dry shampoo does work to remove oil, but not without staining (used the light brown color) everything in it's path. I put in on before I went to bed, and it was all over my hands, my pillowcase, and even when I took a shower the next morning (just rinsed hair with water, no shampoo) it didn't all come out, and it got all over my towel. I would never use this product again. I threw away the rest of the container.

This is one of the best dry shampoos I have used, and that includes the application method, but this company seriously needs to rethink the packaging. The container unscrews in two places: one detaches the applicator so you can use it. The other actually opens the powder receptacle (why??), and if you accidentally open from the wrong end, the powder spills out, and it will stain your counter and clothing. The container has text telling you to not to open the powder side unless you mean it, but because the entire container is one color and looks the same upside-down, it’s very easy to unscrew the wrong cap. I’ve done it twice while getting ready and had to change my clothes. (It did come out of my jeans with Shout.) I finally put tape over the “wrong” one. The pigment in this (I got Brown) is no joke, which means no white cast plus reasonable grey blending. (I have a few grey hairs that sparkle through after few weeks after coloring my hair and really bother me.) The applicator is great for a controlled application, which I appreciate because the powder is mattifying, and I don’t want my hair to look too dull, and also because it will stain your skin—a good thing if you want to fill in your hairline, a bad thing if you mess up and get it on your temples. I use this before makeup and not after, just in case. Basically they nailed it with this product. Just please update the container with some kind of visual indicator for which end to open.

It matches the color of your hair, so your scalp looks weird. I also HATE the way it makes my hair feel...super stiff and sticky...if I try to run my hands through my hair they get stuck and my hair breaks. I literally threw it in the garbage and will never buy/use again.

I’m not sure what I was really expecting with a tinted dry shampoo, but this wasn’t it. The poof is cute but kind of hard to control the amount of product. After applying it to my hair, I waited a few minutes before using my fingers to shake my hair out and distribute it. My hands came out brown! Even under my fingernails. I had to wash my hands a few times to get rid of it. I looked closer to my scalp and where I applied it, it stained my scalp. I have fine hair that gets oily quickly, which is why I wanted dry shampoo to help touch it up, but it looks more like I’m trying to cover my grays instead. If I put it on and leave it overnight and touch my hair the next day, the color doesn’t come off on my hand. I guess I need to find the happy medium between 8 minutes and 8 hours. When I shower after using it, it also visibly comes out and I can see the brown on my shower walls. It does clean up the oil, but I’m not a fan of the color and mess.

Great dry shampoo!! No aerosols or crazy chemicals. Fixes the oily hair problem and adds volume! Dark color is also nice - it blends in much better than others that are just white powders. Great for travel!

It works very well. The color blends into the hair better than white spray.

It’s a no for me. Too messy and takes longer to apply. I really wanted to like it but just use baby powder if opposed to aerosol spray. I’m a red head and ordered the brown. I usually use an aerosol dry shampoo but ordered this for airline purposes. 1. Be careful initially opening and twisting. If you twist the wrong side powder will go everywhere 2. If you use at the hairline, it leave large noticeable spots in the scalp. This was more noticeable during initial use. 3. This takes a lot longer to apply than spraying aerosol. You have to dab this on your head. 4. I do run my fingers through my hair after I apply or throughout the day (tousle the bangs kinda thing) and this comes off on my nails which are white. SO DONT TOUCH YOUR HAIR AND LIGHT COLOR CLOTHING.

I’ve been using this product for several months and it works quite well. I love that it doesn’t leave a white cast on your scalp and it actually helps fill in where your hair might be thinner. It definitely helps cut down on the shiny greasy look on hair between washes. I like the little powder puff applicator, it’s easy to use and helps distribute the product evenly. It also the perfect size to tuck into my purse to bring to work or the gym!

Very easy to use and not messy. I’ve got thinning hair and the powder along the hairline and part gives the impression that I have more hair so that’s a bonus!

Works super well, easy application and blends with my light auburn hair colour. Does not end up on my forehead like other brands!
