SAM Splint (36" Roll Splint)

This is an excellent piece of kit that hopefully you will never need. It is very light but surprisingly strong without being completely rigid. I have adapted it to use for my dog who suffers from carpal hyperextension. It is easily cut and moulded. This splint could have numerous uses and was worth the money.

I use these at work and can highly recommend them.Make sure that you are familiar with their use before packing them so that you are ready to go should you need to rely on them. They can be cut to size and will support an injury if you need to transport someone whilst waiting for the ambulance service or whilst you are transporting someone to hospital yourself.A variety of sizes gives you the option of supporting upper and lower limb injuries and you can combine two splints to really keep a limb stableSo much easier than using old fashioned methods..

This is a must have purchase for anyone going out and about. Hills, dales, even the village green to play rounders; it is light, rolls up into a small size yet can be easily manipulated into a strong and effective splint. I hope you never need it but this can travel anywhere with you and will be worth double its weight in gold should you ever need a splint. Simple too, the instructions are pictured on the outside of it. Young children can use it! Worth every penny, if only for peace of mind.

Does what it says

An absolute essential that should be carried by every first aider. Made this purchase after coming across a particularly nasty break where I struggled to improvise a suitable splint. When the experts arrived out came the SAM splints and in minutes they were secured and off on the stretcher. Never again do I want to be without a Sam splint in my first aid kit

I learned to use this item on a training course and decided to buy the identical one because it's good quality and very solid, it is extremely versatile, but very strong, very compact for storage and has usage instructions printed on the item itself.

Unrolled and folded it just slips in the back of my rucksack, If you need a splint, you need a big splint that can be folded down rather than a small useless one.

La utilizo en mi botiquin de montaña y es perfecta. Ademas en la propia ferula incluye unos grabados con dibujos explicativos de como usarla. Tambien viene grabado un codigo QR para ver un video tutorial y aprender a usar el producto mejor. Material bueno y comodo.
