DO NOT TOUCH THE LIGHT WITH UNGLOVED FINGERS
This light is used in my water well to kill bacteria that might be in the water. The light is rated for 1 year and is specific to my unit. I have found it very easy to replace. Note that the bulb can be damaged and the life of the light lowered if you touch the glass on the light with a finger. My recommendation is to use a cloth glove when you replace the bulb so you do not get fingerprint grease on the glass. UPDATE Sept 2024: This light burned out in 8 months. It should have lasted 1 year (at a minimum).
