Best bake book, for me simple baking recipes for simple people. Zero complexity. Simple ingredients easy to find. Love it.

Easy, delicious, family friendly book
As an OG Baker Club member I’ve baked along hundreds of times with Christina Tosi. Her recipes are the most approachable, delicious, sweet tooth satisfying ones I have in my extensive collection. Each one is always a hit with the family. Heck yea!
This book is a little different from Previous Milk Bar books. It contains some everyday recipes from granola to white bread. As well as basic recipes such as pudding, curd, jam. Anything that improves your baking game. I’m also a professional and I that It has a really great of approach in that most recipes are adaptable. I’ve baked the lemon crinkle cookies and they are amazing. Bright and lemony (also gluten free). The Thanksgiving stuffing croissant are wild, the bagel is solid. The brownie is to die for, as are the ham and cheese puffs. This book is for all levels even a professional like myself is shocked by the simplicity of this book and its WOW factor

One of the best looking cookbooks I've seen. Attractive, embossed cover and great photos inside. Includes many delicious recipes. I deducted a star since I'm only interested in about 65% of recipes since it's a little too kid-oriented, but for the discounted priced, I would recommend.

A Treasure
This book is full of great recipes that I am working my way through. Each recipe has pictures of the ingredients and the end result. As with any cookbook there are recipes that do not appeal to me but only a few. I’ve been a home baker for over forty years and I feel this cookbook is easy to follow for any level from beginner to very experienced. This cookbook will stay at the front of the book shelf.

Dang it, foiled again
I've bought other cookbooks by Tosi and found that her measurements don't always seem to work--she forces a lot of liquid into her recipes, in general, and I've gotten mixed results. I'm an experienced baker but her recipes are hit or miss. I tried the Sprite Cake (followed the instructions to a t!) and it was hopelessly soggy. A little cranky that I wasted all those ingredients. I'll try some other recipes in this before I abandon it but be warned that her recipes don't have a foolproof guarantee, and it's usually due to them being too heavy/soggy/laden down with fat. I love a rich recipe, but they can't be so rich that they don't work!
