Would the whole still need wrapping/covering after applying this or can it be left bear? I need it to fill an old abcc hole in the bottom of the hoof

I used to clean the area with hydrogen peroxide then let dry, pack the hole with the hoof stuff and again let dry, never needed to cover. Although if turning out in mucky fields the suction of the mud could bring it out. It's a good product.

Would the whole still need wrapping/covering after applying this or can it be left bear? I need it to fill an old abcc hole in the bottom of the hoof

Hey, I used this product to pack my boys seedy toe, I would apply it then stand him on dry ground until it dried and hardened, then he would have went out to grass as normal. I don't think you would need to wrap as long as it was given time to set.

Can the clay be used on horses that are shoes?

Yes it can, farriers will often put it under shoes when they shoe a horse and remove it when they take the shoe off again!

My horse had a crack down the middle of it hoof can it be put in there ?

Yes you can use it in cracks and holes. Really good stuff. Best to change daily as I forgot and took ages to get it out. Best to use a bigger than smaller piece too.
