Second time's a charm?
The first instrument arrived well-packaged, but the neck was separating from the body to the point that the action was super-high and the intonation was shot even for open chords. A quick, painless reorder, and the next one is much more solid and playable thus far. I'll need to give it some time with the strings at tension - may preemptively run a bit of glue along the back of the bridge just in case. I'd say give it a try for the $$$. If I get good at this, I will likely upgrade, but I'm really looking forward to exploring this new (unusual, portable) instrument. -Keith
