The tape is very good

I had a small hole in my kerosene boiler’s flue which needed urgently sealing. I carefully cleaned the surrounding area with isopropyl alcohol and applied two strips of the tape in a ‘+’ shape across the hole. Despite the tape being rather thin and I do wish that it had been thicker, the repair has both worked and importantly remained attached.

Used this tape to seal a metal flue from a gas fired heater. Don't use this to provide a mechanical seal, use screws and place the tape over the join to make airtight. Remove all loose rust etc and clean first, then the tape sticks very well. Good easy to use product.

Had a leaking flue pipe joint when heavy rain. Adheres well.

Bought to cover hole in steel stove pipe but the tape doesn't stay stuck and just falls apart. I realise this isn't the proper use for this tape - it's for hot air pipe rather than a burner chimney. But I thought it might work since the stack pipe certainly doesn't get hotter than 600 degrees F. So this is not so much a criticism of the tape (although it seems very expensive even if it does work on hot air flues) as a warning to anyone looking for a way to mend their stove pipe - this won't work!

Easy to apply, strong and did the job sealing joint on flue.

What I was hoping for a thin durable hi temperature tape.

Very good and very resistant, i used it to seal a broken electric oven door gasket.

Wow! This stuff worked grate on our flue connections that were leaking. The temp hand actually went over °700 degrees towards °800 and the tape was literally smoking 😆 but never failed. Absolutely beast on connections at crazy high temps ! 🔥 rated for sure !!
