No grip, but otherwise OK
Disclaimer: luckily I had no hard drops of my phone, so really no stress test of sturdiness. I am basing the review on the look and the feel.My new phone is a bit larger than my old phone and thus my grip on the case feels a bit iffy to begin with. The case is smooth and hard which makes it easy to slip out of your grasp, esp. while you are getting used to the size and weight. On the other hand, the visibly raised bezel around the screen and the back-facing cameras is a nice feature and I hope it'll translate to better protection.

Speck is the only case I will use, no yellowing, protects my iPhone my external brain!
I love Speck phone covers, they fit perfectly with a beveled edge on the front face. I like the clear case because I can see my pink phone. Over a year later, no yellowing of cover. I drop my phone a lot and no damage. I had a Speck case on myprevious iPhone 11, same protection. Note, I do have a screen protector.
