I am a big fan of this product but if you’re going to buy it there are a few things you need to know. The first batch I bought I noticed it would not clean up in water but it would clean up in paint thinner, which means it was an oil-based product. That did not bother me because I was extremely impressed by how close it looked too real silver. The last batch I bought would not clean up in paint thinner but cleans up in water telling me it’s a water-based product which it is advertised as. When you apply the water-based product it is a bluish gray colored not silver but does dry silver color. It still looks nice but it is not as shiny as the oil-based product. I would like to get a hold of the manufacturer (Vgseba) but there is no email address or regular address anywhere on the Internet. Also, I strongly recommend in investing in a spray gun, you can get a good one for $30 on Amazon and you will notice a very big difference using it rather than a brush. The finish is a lot smoother and does a better job of imitating real silver, but will consume more of the paint. I purchased the product because I am a novice with silver inlaying and was not satisfied with my results but I am quite happy with this product meeting all my expectations in more. I also wish it would come in larger sizes. If you’re looking for a product that imitates real silver I believe you will be satisfied with this product. If the distributor or any other party that could reach the manufacturer. I would like to tell them about their product. There seems to be a dislike for the water-based version and because I’ve had both I can verify that the oil-based version is a lot better product and will produce more satisfied customers.

I had not found any brush-on type metallic paint that I liked as much as spray on types, until I tried this one. It was easy to apply. It resulted in a bright and beautiful, shimmering metallic silver finish on hardware for an antique table. It is holding upwelling and gave us a quality’s finish. Very happy with this product.

I was having issues with regular craft paint looking like sparkle clunky blobs and I’m sooo happy I found this. It has a decent thickness to it so it covers very well. The color dries to a great silver that looks elegant and not cheesy. I’m going to order more of their colors asap!!!

Nice metallic silver paint! It’s shimmer is there but quite subtle, which is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to work with on wood.

la pittura è acrilico metallizzato prodotta in Cina: si stende bene ma per coprire una base a colore scuro occorrono almeno due mani. La qualità del prodotto è buona rispetto al costo e il risultato è un argento molto chiaro, quasi bianco. La consiglio per lavori non troppo impegnativi e non professionali.

Works great! Got this rocket lamp from ikea which had red top and legs. I didn’t like the colours and wanted it metallic. This was perfect. Just needed a few coats since it was a very bright red but works well. Very thick, drys fast. Great shimmer.
