No need charging as the car only runs when you put it under the sun.Doesn't run when no sunlight.

What is included in this DIY science kit?

Everything you need for a solar car for a science project is included in this kit. Here is the full list of components: Electric Motors, Wooden Car parts, Hardware & Connectors such as 2 Metal Axles, screws, Bushings for Motor and Axle Connections and a rubber band. We also included Phillips Head Screwdriver and sandpaper. We also included Color and brush to paint your wooden car.

Does it work under light bulb?

Most incandescent bulbs produce between 40 and 100 watts of light which is not enough to run the car.

Can you take it apart easily and then build it again?

It would be possible but not recommended. The car, in full sunlight, had quite a bit of power. We were impressed. The front axle was so wide, the wheels wobbled. We ended up cutting a hole in the front of the carriage and using one wheel.
