Fills out the train set perfectly. Recommended.

Only complaint is SOUND IS TOO LOUD WITH NO VOLUME COMTROL It is louder than the train STEAM & CHUGGING SOUND. I guess the best way to appreciate the sound is to Turn Off the Train SOUND cause one sound mixes in with the other kinda killing the effects of both making just noise with no separation. Lionel should have put VOLUME CONTROLS ON THE ENGINE AND Dementor car to BALANCE THE HAUNTING EFFECT. I don't have any other SOUND EFFECTS CARS OR BUILDINGS BUT INSTALLING A VOLUME CONTROL ON ALL WOULD REALLY HELP THE TRAIN SOUNDS & ACCESSORIES SOUNDS BLEND REALISTICALLY. I do have a Vision BIG BOY and still getting all the track I need to run it. Saw video on its SETIP which is about an hour with lubrication & programming but..DAMN! WHAT A TRAIN! Thinking of rigging it up on a shelf till I get all the track just to hear and see its stuff. I have 1st series with Chuff Smoke. WISH LIONEL KEPT THAT AND HAD NEWEST EFFECT TIED INTO BLOWDOWN . Well that's about it. BUT I WAS TRUELY AMAZED WITH THE SOUND EFFECTS. IT'S LIKE YOU ARE WITH A REAL ENGINE. These effects are much better in person than from a video. MY boy hood came back to when I had 027 with Cattle CAR and 2 Engines. One of which was a Gigantic 6'8-6 which I had to put a stronger spring on trucks 2 keep on track.

NEED ENGINE COAL CAR AND 2/3 MORE PASSENGER CARS AND CABOSE. THOUGHT OTHER HARRY POTTER TRAIN WAS SAME SIZE AS THE SMALL CAR. INSTEAD 3 TIMES LGR. AND TRACKS FOR THE 3X2.7X6" TRAIN CAR. THIS SIZE FITS BETTER IN S ENIOR HOUSING APTS.

Coupler broke. Black rubber warped and won’t stay aligned or in the designated position. Should really check the “used- like new” condition of products before shipping.
