This set of glasses goes well for every day or elegant dining. They have a shine that says elegance and they have a quality of every day use. I get more compliments on these glasses. I have purchased these as gifts for others after so many have inquired as to where to get them. they have a feel of quality too. They are just heavy enough in the hand but have a feel of quality that is not over stated. Hold just the right amount of wine for dinner use. No rough edges either. very well done for such an inexpensive item. I think you will enjoy them for every day or for having that evening of company and wanting to impress just a little. Great match for glasses I already had.

I want small wine glasses. I am so tired of oversized wine glasses that can't be put in the dishwasher. And I think large glasses encourage over-consumption. Maybe you want a big glass when you order wine in a bar/restaurant and are paying a large mark-up. But in my own home I prefer to have small glasses that encourage smaller portions.I was shopping for every-day wine glasses and the sizes these days are ridiculous. To give one example, the "everyday essential" white wine glasses at one store hold 19 ounces. That's two-thirds of a standard 750 ml bottle! The "standard" wine serving is just 5 ounces - about one-fifth of a bottle. Good luck getting a 19 oz glass in the dishwasher.I was also hoping for duplicates of the Cristal D'Arques I received as a wedding present more than 25 years ago. I think I got a set of 4 or 6 and since they were inexpensive I used them for "every day". Over the years I broke one here and there and now I'm down to one and it has a crack. Sniff. These glasses were only 7 inches tall and comfortably hold 4 ounces, or you could squeeze in 5 ounces.Well I had great hope for these glasses as the picture looks similar to my old Cristal D'Arques. But these are not the same. They are a touch shorter - 6.5 inches high. And the capacity is a bit smaller. The claimed capacity is 5 and 3/4 ounces but even 4 ounces is uncomfortably full. I think a realistic amount to fit in these glasses is 3 to 3.5 ounces.I will say they are pretty nice looking. Warning: these are NOT LEAD CRYSTAL. The box even says they aren't lead crystal. I wish Amazon would fix the product description as it talks about 24% lead crystal -- very misleading. These glasses are "Diamax", apparently a new lead-free alternative from the Cristal D'Arques manufacturer. You can visit their website and see their brag about this material. I think it looks pretty much like cut crystal, but I'm no expert. Since I want these for every day I would be fine with plain glass, plus lead-free sounds healthier. I ran them through the dishwasher once and they came out fine, although only time will tell if they stay clear.I am keeping them as they fit my desire to have small every day wine glasses. But I would not recommend them as a gift unless you are very sure the recipient wants small glasses. I think these have an old-fashioned look to them. Perhaps they would be a good gift for your mother or your grandmother, but probably not a young bride.

I have bought these before and they are still beautiful. Nice heavy glasses. Go well with pretty much any nice china dish wear.

Received these today and one of them is broken. These glasses are not cheap. $40 for a set of 4 is $10/glass and one comes broken. You can tell by the picture that these are pretty thick so hard to break. I must note that the broken pieces from the glass were NOT inside the packaging anywhere so it broke BEFORE it was wrapped up, so they decided to KNOWINGLY wrap up a broken glass and send it to us. I wouldn't be as upset if the pieces were inside and it got broken in transport. It's the fact that someone KNEW it was broke and sent it anyway. I'm happy with the other 3 glasses. They are beautiful. I would like a replacement sent for the broken one.

Love love love these cups! Not only they are beautiful, they are very thick! I’ve dropped them a few times in my sink by accident, and unlike my previous ones these haven’t broken or even chipped. I give them 5/5. Love the size and how sparkly they are. Highly recommend.

Era para completar un juego. Por algun motivo no es exactamente igual a las originales que tenía de antes (las medidas no son iguales) pero da bien el pego, así que me doy por satisfecha.
