The debut full length album from boygenius, Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus. Bridgers has called the formation of the group 'kind of an accident,' wherein each of the members were simply fans of each other's work and then became friends. The long-awaited album is produced and written by boygenius. It was recorded at Shangri-la Studios in Malibu, California. Review: The best - Simply, The Record is the best record released in 2023. I love Lucy, Julien & Phoebe & the wonderful music they make together as boygenius with passion I’ve rarely known for any other group. In whatever format, be it vinyl, cassette, CD download or streaming, you need to have these songs in your life so that, on a daily basis, you know there is beauty to be found in this terrible world Review: What can I say? - So rarely does a "supergroup" live up to its promise but boygenius really do. A fantastic collection of songs about love, friendship and the female viewpoint. Utterly compelling, often simply beautiful and wonderfully produced. For me, Phoebe Bridger's "Emily I'm Sorry" is a standout but there's not a bad song on this album. Highly recommended, especially the vinyl, which is incredibly well cut.

Beautiful
This album is so good!?!? I love how each artist’s style is heard so distinctly throughout the album, so happy to have it on vinyl.

Arrived with 2 discs
CD arrived in perfect condition, however in the case was 2 identical discs as opposed to 1 + a lyric book. Only annoying to people like me who like to collect the lyric books, however I will keep the CD as otherwise it is perfect.
