The hose bib fit perfectly and looks and functions as expected. I’m hopeful that this one will serve its purpose and last a long time.

My old-school cast-iron oil-fueled steam boiler is still kicking it at 81% efficiency ( Even the Boiler service Guys say to hang on to it ) and I finally got around to changing the old drain tap with this Ball valve. You know the adage, " If it ain't broke, don't fix it ". I finally relented ( the old one still functioned ) and changed out the old screw-type tap for the Ball valve, I'm sorry I waited so long. The easy 1/4 turn, On/Off makes it that much easier to quickly let out sediment and refill. Recommended

Smooth turn, good flow and no leaks so far. Also it has enough tread for a hose to not jump treads and stay firm. Too expensive though. Before the tariffs Ali express sold similar for $5 with free shipping. I know as I got a few.

Turns smooth and had no issue installing. I work outside with gloves, so I've been looking for a ball spigot with a large easy to turn knob. This does the job flawlessly, and without extra bulk/length unlike some other valves I was looking at.
