Bosch not honouring warranty due to lack of serial no on Amazon’s invoice.
Bosch e-warranty is activated via their BeConnected app. Invoice has to uploaded. It specifically mentions that the warranty is subject to invoice verification with S/N and tool number mentioned on both the invoice and tool. In spite of emailing 2 times and calling them, Bosch team has not reverted and it’s left me with a bad taste of what to expect when availing warranty. Amazon is refusing to help unless Bosch reverts on this matter with an email reply. So, I’m left in the middle ground like a beggar trying to reach both of them. I gave up now. Additionally, it’s only a replacement item and cannot be returned. Please buy from your local Bosch dealer with a proper invoice. Their tools are amazing but in the future, I’ll buy them only from a physical dealer with proper invoicing. Amazon services are disappointing sometimes..
