Dell Math & Logic Problems

I have been a lifelong fan of logic problems and various math-based problems, so this publication has been a godsend for me. For years, I'd actually been picking it up from the bookstore whenever a new issue came out, but that has many disadvantages, so I was pleased to find that I could subscribe to it via Amazon. No more going out of my way to head to the bookstore only to find that they don't have the latest issue yet.I am hooked on certain puzzles that are featured in pretty much every issue but which I rarely see in other puzzle magazines, especially the Math Mazes and Square Logics. Unsurprisingly, there are also about a couple dozen Logic Problems in each issue, with varying difficulty levels and scenarios, which keeps them interesting for me. And there is a good mix of other types of puzzles I enjoy, from the multitude of Cross Sums (also known as Kakuro) to the once-per-issue Cryptic Maths.It would be perfect were it not so expensive, however. It used to be that Dell would publish 6 issues per year for under $5 each. Sadly, they recently reduced it to 4 issues per year, and increased the cost per to a couple dollars more. Still a great value considering the diversity and complexity of the puzzles, but it's getting prohibitively expensive. I just hope that Dell will rein in the cost - or at least reinstate it to the former bi-monthly frequency of issues.

This is the only place I can find the Word Math puzzles that I enjoy most of all, and it has very nice Cross Sums, Sudoku, and Logic Problems. I have enjoyed my many subscriptions over the years, and I have no plans to stop any time soon.

I really enjoy math and logic problems, and Dell I have found is the best. There are seldom errors and the clues normally make more sense than other puzzle book companies. I only buy Dell for that reason.

I have enjoyed this magazine since I was a kid, but it's gotten harder to find in stores. All of the puzzles can be solved using basic math and logic skills and range from easy to extremely challenging.

They've added even more Cross sums - my favorite 🤔
