Great Deal. Pencil size, lead quality, color intensity surpass most with reputations as high achievers on the market at a fraction of the price. The additional features of this set are so thoughtful, useful, and helpful they cinch the deal. The set comes in a rigid, easy to open & close tin, with 3 plastic panels holding the pencils firmly. The tin includes a form-fitting foam to keep layers snug in place. The clear plastic presentation layer reinforces the thoughtfulness of the set’s designers. Additionally, the name of the color is embossed on each pencil, identified permanently as a color sample on the tin’s attached lid and on a removable color key sheet. And it offers color variations that are hard to find. Finally, there is a small pamphlet that describes how to use the pencils that is crucial for beginners and taught me, a long time watercolor pencil artist, a thing or two. I recommend this set as highly as possible. A great all-in gift.

I bought this set of pencils as well as a smaller set of less expensive ones because the small set was on sale. I did a side-by-side test of this brand next to the less expensive brand. I definitely noticed a difference. These pencils easily blend with water and it doesn’t take a tremendous amount of effort to get rid of the pencil lines. The colors are beautiful and they are really fun to work with.

I mostly use traditional watercolors but I like to play with different mediums too. I have used watercolor pencils before that I wasn't too impressed with but I have had other Artisto products that are great so I wanted to try their watercolor pencils. The case is gorgeous and sturdy. I love the large variety of shades and colors. They work beautifully and as expected - very easy to use. I prefer to use them dry then add the water with a brush after, to get the final look I'm after. They also work as colored pencils if you're in the market for good colored pencils but aren't interested in the watercolor aspect. They blend beautifully, and are the right pigmentation I would expect of watercolor. Overall great value, definitely recommend!

They're super easy to use and come with a handbook and swatch sheet. It dries quick depending on how much water you use. Very nice pencils. I had issues with lifting the color despite dabbing with a wet paper towel? Not too much of an issue but a bit annoying if that's important to you. Very smooth without water. Extremely smooth if the page is already wet. Leaves no residue, thin. Pencils are sharpened and ready to use upon opening. Overall seems like a great purchase if you're new to watercolor pencils and don't wanna spend a fortune.

Really beautiful colors - very pigmented and blend very easily. These are the best watercolor pencils I have used so far, and I have several very high end sets. Excellent quality, excellent price!

I bought this set to try out the medium as I always had an interest in watercolor pencils, and I've been enjoying them! First off, the case is nice--doing its job while appearing decently sturdy. It's compact enough to fit snugly into my organized art storage, not taking up more room than necessary. Meanwhile, the pencils themselves are good for the price. Decently pigmented without needing to press down hard, too. Thankfully, as-- onto one of the cons: they're harder to blend the thicker the layer is, though that's to be expected. Otherwise, they react to water beautifully and it's easy to make works that appear like genuine watercolor with them. So overall, I recommend them, especially for those trying out the medium.

Super amazing pencils. They arent the best I've ever used but for what you pay for and the amount you get٫ not bad٫ actually pretty amazing. Would definitely recommend these!

Anyone leaving less than 5 stars for these watercolor pencils either don't know how to use them, or they're using very low quality paper. These work incredibly well on everything from top tier watercolor paper to a $10 watercolor ream of paper at Walmart. These are so soft, so pigmented and blend beautifully. I wish I could purchase individual colors when I run one pencil down to a nub, but they're so reasonably priced that it doesn't hurt terribly to buy a whole new set. I've tried about 5 other brands after this, hoping they'll be just as good, and although some come close, they all ultimately fall short. Just wish they offered a 120 color pack! Give them a chance, you won't regret it!

Good pencils at a reasonable price.

These watercolours pencil took a long time to get to me but I think they were worth it. They were packaged well, very important for pencils that are ruined if they break in transit. The colour range of box with 72 pencils is really great, just about every colour you would need. They are not quite as intense colour as the expensive “artists “ brands but they are wonderful for anyone to experiment with watercolour painting and drawing. Your get a decent quality and broad choice especially for the price. I would recommend them to any up and coming Artist.

I bought this set after reviewed “Coloring Bless” YouTube channel. They are vibrant colours but noticed that lead is cracked through in the middle so it keeps breaking. I guess you can buy an another set to replace one as they are not expensive but is it worth it? In my opinion the quality isn’t great.

I was so excited to receive my new Artisto pencil crayons and then quickly became disappointed! The first thing I noticed was one of the pencils was damaged. I immediately wanted to see how they respond to water so I made my colour chart only to realize that one of the colours is missing, NO light yellow and instead I have double of the apricot pencil. Not only that but, as I began my first drawing, a number of the pencils began to break frequently, indicating to me that the lead inside is broken. The pencils perform as expected and I am delighted to use them in my creative projects but the experience is not what I expected for such an expensive material! Is the problem in the production or delivery I wonder! I have attempted to reach Artisto customer service without success.
