love it
Man, this hat is straight fire! Feels solid, looks super cool, and instantly gives you that cowboy/officer vibe. Perfect for costume parties, Western cosplay, or just flexing that rugged style. Fits comfortably and makes you feel like you just rode in from the Wild West. Definitely a head-turner. I’m loving it!

Very nice quality hat
Bought this to do a Lemmy Kilmister Cosplay and I have to say I'm impressed with the overall quality of the hat. The gold cord around the brim of the hat reminds me of the type of shoulder cords we had in the army. I'd like to point out that the cord, tassel and crossed sabers are Gold. Not yellow, as I've seen with other products but actually gold color which really makes them pop. The material of the hat feels like a medium quality felt and is a beautiful navy blue. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cosplay cavalry hat

It works as a novelty item well
I bought this hat as I was speaking to a group about the civil war and wanted to have a little bit of character with the hat. It did the trick. AS a novelty item it is great. I think the hat is a bit cheaply made but the price was in line with what I expected. So if you want a cavalry hat as a novelty YEP I think this is good. If you want a hat to wear around day to day....well,...no....I wouldn't want to get this hat wet. I suppose it does give some shade with the wide brim.

The hat was for my husband’s Halloween costume. It looks great and it was better made than expected.

Company does not know lavender from Gray
The hat does fit and is a novelty item and not an item priced as a fine piece of headgear for sure. Having said so I gave it lowest rating due to false advertised color. Gray is not lavender or a purple looking shade of color. We Confederate Americans take it as an insult to our intelligence to send us something advertised as Gray that is not.

Worth the price
Much better than I was expecting. It’s by no means a Stetson, but definitely feels and looks better than a “costume” hat. I have a large head and this fits perfect. Zero complaints at this price point.
