I do not know where it was made. I do know that it comes through Canada because when I order it in large quantities, they usually say they have to get the shipment in from Canada.

What is the difference between Black and Shadow?

Hello! Our Black color is a true black and our Shadow color leans more black with a grey undertones.

Is this for use with regular sewing machines?

We use it in a quilting machine. It is a heavy thread, probably not well suited for regular sewing. Some machines can handle heavy weight thread and some can not.
