Mometrix Media LLC SHRM CP Exam Prep - Certification Secrets Study Guide, 2 Complete Practice Tests, Detailed Answer Explanations: 2nd Edition

I used this book exclusively and passed my SHRM-CP test yesterday. There are some things on the practice tests that aren't in the book but just Google it and you'll be okay. I do HIGHLY recommend getting another study guide because I would say about 10% of the questions on the real test weren't in the book at all. The practice tests really prepare you and show you your weak points and what to study.

Loved this book and the practice problems were very helpful for the SHRM-CP.

The material itself is fine, I also bought the audible book and listened to that a lot. The questions though were not great. A lot of them were not in the material so that was very frustrating. Suggest to use this as study material, but avoid questions as they will throw you off and frustrate you

Perfect book for test prep

I passed my exam and only had this book to study with. I don’t think this book contributed too much to that success however. Most of the SHRM CP exam questions were situational maybe a good 40 to 50 questions which this book does have in the practice exams but only very few. While studying the book doesn’t go over how to pick the best choice from a certain situation and only provides lots of general knowledge which maybe 45 questions on the test were. Even so, the general knowledge stuff in the book wasn’t really in the test.
