I connected these to a set of Philips Hue Hubs, and within 2 months both of the Hue Hubs stopped working. D14 diode was fried. Will need to test further with an oscilloscope to determine if these experience voltage spikes. I would avoid these if you were going to power a Philips Hue Hub, as replacing a hub is not only expensive, but incredibly time consuming when you have a lot of devices and scenes to repair and recreate.

I used these for multiple devices in my home to eliminate a bunch of power bricks. The barrel connector is 5.5mm x 2.1mm so I bought a adapter kit from amazon (FAMKIT Mintata2019 8-in-1 Universal DC Plugs) which had the different sizes I needed to use on my SmartThings hub, Philips Hue bridge, and Ooma VoIP adapter. Eliminating 3 wall warts and switching over to my PoE switch (which is on a UPS) was well worth the money. I bought the 4 pack and I plan on finding a use for the last one somewhere. Highly recommend.
