Men’s Automatic MIYOTA 8285 Mechanical Watch Casual Watches for Men Waterproof Sapphire

This exeeded my expectations for a high quality homage to a legendary 36mm palm motif date only type of item. This one is 40 mm diameter, and the dial is lush, sunbursty, irridescent, a party. Add to that the fluted bezel, and the liquid smooth, very comfortable bracelet, and it’s a gorgeous piece. While the bracelet is perfect, with an excellent clasp, I put a simple one-ply brown leather plank of a strap on it. It’s a nice pairing with the palm fronds, and a casual counterpoint to the flashy bezel. It’s five o’clock somewhere, and this watch will be on time.

I would buy this watch over a Rolex any day of the week.I got the dark blue which has a star burst face.the Bracelet is solid stainless steel which was a shocker it has some weight to it very well built it keeps prefect time,it's just a beautiful watch for the money.The the automatic movement is great read what they put in it u will be surprise screw down crown.comes in a nice box with registration card microfiber cloth and instructions on how to set it up.7000.0 for a stainless steel watch u are paying for the name not the watch this is one for someone who does not have the money or someone like me who will not pay the high price for name to own a very nice dress watch

I was given this watch as a gift about 3 months ago but the watch frequently is off with the time and the seconds hand just came lose in the watch as I was wearing it. Honestly the watch looks very nice but the functionality of the watch is not good at all. I have a $40 Timex watch that I have had for over 10 years that works better than this watch. It is a shame I can't get a refund or exchange for the watch especially for how much it's worth.

Aside from the Cadisen logo, this looks nearly identical to the famous Day Date. Love it. For the price you cant really go wrong. $129 for a $45,000 look!

It is blatantly obvious that this watch is intended to be an homage to the new 2021 Rolex Datejust Palm Motif watch. That's not a bad thing at all - affordable homages allow more people to enjoy great watches. What I like about it: 1) The butterfly clasp, when adjusted properly, fits very nicely and is secure. 2) The finish of the 316L stainless steel is gorgeous. Granted it is not the 904L grade steel used by Rolex and a few other luxury watch makers, but it's good enough for surgery. If it's good enough to operate on a patient, it's good enough to be on your wrist. 3) A sapphire crystal in a watch of this price range is not very common. 4) It is a nice size - 40mm wide versus 36mm of the actual Rolex. 5) Not $20,000. 6) The screw-down crown keeps things water proof and also keeps you from doing anything accidentally. What I am not happy about on this watch: 1) The lume is sub-par. It's barely visible on the hands at all. Everywhere else it does not last long and is most unpleasant as the green color. 2) The Miyota movement does not support hacking, making it difficult to precisely set. This is a small thing, but considering that Invicta sells watches that are less expensive with Seiko NH35 movements that do support this, I think it should be included at this price point. 3) I wanted the dial to have a bit more of a greener color to it. At first glance the palms almost look grayish, though you see the green when the light hits it right. 4) Link removal on the bracelet is a pain in the rear end - though this is true of any watch bracelet. Overall, you get 90% of the Rolex experience at a cost of less than 1% of the Rolex. That's good value to me.

I just received the watch yesterday 4/22. Just got it sized at the jewelry store. Funny enough I take it out of pouch I had it in and the first thing that comes out the gentleman’s mouth was “oh okay a Rolex”. That itself I knew I did the right thing on buying one. After taking off the proper amount of link. It fits perfect and can’t wait to start wearing it and in all hopes it stays functioning like watches are suppose too. I love it, a new favorite watch added to my collection!

Looks nice on my wrist. Very comfortable once you find the right fit as far as how many links to remove. Main downside is the rotor is very noisy and noticeable. It’s not like that on the silver version I bought.

Would recommend getting another watch, got it for a daily driver but it’s pretty bad
