We went through cycle after cycle of outbreaks, even with all the preventive measures in place. Enter this barrier cream — our last-ditch hope. My son started using it before every match and practice, and guess what? Over a year later (wrestling year-round, multiple times a week) he’s been completely ringworm-free. We still do all the other careful stuff, but this cream is the secret weapon. Honestly, I wish we’d found it sooner. 🏆

Works really well at preventing burns and sores on my skin when doing BJJ! I was skeptical at first, but never had skin issues after using this. Will definitely keep using it.

Pricey, but worth it. The bottles are huge and will last forever. My son brought this to a week long wrestling camp. Lots of boys came home with rashes but he didn’t - was it the foam? I dunno - but maybe it was. He has super sensitive skin but he had no bad reaction to this.

Working in the medical field, you often find yourself in positions that would be too close for comfort if it were any other setting. I have sensitive skin and sometimes my skin would get irritated just from brushing against someone’s clothes(certain laundry detergents and perfumes/colognes will give me contact dermatitis). Working in the ED, most people get cold but for whatever reason I just naturally have a higher body temperature so I can’t wear anything with long sleeves without feeling like I’m roasting. I’m a huge fan of Defense products and have been using them for over a decade. After several years and trying countless other “solutions” to my problem, I came across this product and I’m so glad I did. I keep several bottles in my locker at work and put it on before I clock in. I don’t like using anything that feels like it leaves a film(especially anything that leaves a greasy feeling) on my skin. After this product drys I don’t even notice it’s there. However, if it gets wet wherever I’ve applied it, I can feel it. If you know what it feels like when you have aloe(dried) on your skin and get it wet again, it’s similar to that. Since I’m always washing my hands and using gloves, I just wash my hands after I’ve applied the Defense foam and it’s never been an issue. It doesn’t leave behind any fragrance and doesn’t irritate my skin. I wish I would’ve found this a long time ago. It’s almost like “PPE in a bottle”…. I would think this goes without saying but obviously there is no substitution for proper PPE. I think of this as an added layer of protection.

If you have a wrestler in the home, then you need these wipes. The ring worm decreased significantly last season making the entire team use them after practices and matches - this size is perfect for throwing in my kids bag so they always have them when needed.
