Wow. What a great Melissa and Doug dupe. The quality of the wood and the detailing on these pieces is awesome. I do worry that it will chip with time but I feel as though that’s par for the course with the wooden toys. The Velcro in the middle of the pieces seems extremely durable and allows my two year old to successfully cut them while also staying held together when put back. I also love the detailing on the inside of the veggies. Such a cute find!!

My 1 year old loves this set, super fun. The quality is good, all wood. Comes with a tray for storage. Good for learning and imagination. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be. But nice toy overall.

Pros: The veggies are super cute! The Velcro and knife to cute them in half allows kids to practice preparing dinner. The Velcro is strong and goes back together pretty easy. I also love the servings tray for storage and play. Cons: The only con is that the play set is much smaller than expected. I did not expect life size vegetables, but did think they would be bigger than they are. It is definitely a choking hazard for littles who still put things in their mouth.

We own both the fruit and veggie sets because my kids are basically in their tiny chef era—and these do not disappoint. They’re colorful, sturdy, and ridiculously fun to cut with the wooden knife. Each piece splits apart smoothly, giving major toddler satisfaction with zero real mess or sharp objects involved. Parenting win. Now, let’s talk scale. Is the carrot suspiciously the same size as the corn? Yes. Are the proportions wildly inaccurate? Also yes. Do my kids care? Absolutely not. They’re too busy going full “Fruit Ninja: Play Kitchen Edition” to notice or care about vegetable realism. They love discovering which ones have seeds inside (which feels oddly educational), and I love that it keeps them busy while I make actual dinner. 10/10, would let my toddler aggressively chop these again.

My toddler eyed this vegetable set at a friend’s house and I had to find it. This vegetable cutting set is great for toddlers motor skills development, language development and recognition of various vegetables. Vegetables are durable and the Velcro holding them together is strong yet easy enough for toddlers to cut through. When cutting vegetables there is a satisfying cutting noise. Since we got the set he has learned all the names of the vegetables and has successfully been able to cut through all vegetables building confidence. I usually pull it out when I’m cooking dinner and he can play cut while I’m cutting my vegetables. A simple but very good play toy that my son has come to love. Great value for price point.
