The unique flip-up front access of the cover is made possible by hinges built into the inner oriented side rails and corresponding underbody rails that these sections are paired with. Although the hinged area is designed for easy access, it also contains its own locking mechanism. When the latch at the front of the bed is locked, it can only be by rolling the cover all the way open and releasing the locking mechanism, keeping your valuables safe and secure when you are away from your vehicle.
