I never truly know what I'm getting until it comes. I was pleasantly surprised with how well it appears to be made. (It just came, so I can't exactly speak to durability, but it seems to be well-made & I think it will hold up well.) The whole top flap is a zippered pocket. The front zippered pocket is quite large. Inside the spacious main compartment, there is a zippered pocket, as well as 2 non-zippered pockets. There are water bottle pockets in the outside (1 on either side), which was not clear in the pictures. They included the usb extension for inside the backpack, as well as extra zipper pulls. Especially for the price point, I am quite pleased with this purchase & would not hesitate to purchase again. Update: months later, has continued to hold up extremely well. My daughter has gotten so many compliments on this bag. Still extremely happy with this purchase.
