Five stars for ease of installation and seeming functionality. I just got it yesterday so I can’t speak to the battery life or how durable it is. It seems to be plenty loud on the third setting but does have a louder setting for freezers located in the garage or basement. Hopefully it keeps us from leaving our freezer open again.

This worked well for our setup. We have a pull-out drawer freezer at the bottom of our fridge. Sometimes, it wouldn't be closed all the way (but it would look closed) and just sit a tiny bit open overnight. There is no built-in alarm on our fridge, so I ordered this item. I have it on the freezer pull-out drawer, and it has worked well. We have a smaller home and we can hear the alarm from across the house. This has already saved us a handful of times and paid for itself. It was easy to install and has stayed in place well.

So far works great! I recently had a TOTAL loss of everything in a completely full deep freeze..it was HORRIBLE!! The door was barely open a crack and we even walked by it for a day and a half until we discovered it. I knew I needed something after losing hundreds of dollars of food. I read the reviews and liked the price point so I thought I would try it. The alarm is subtle at first and keeps getting louder and each minute. I can even hear it at the 3 and 4 minutes mark in the House. Which was the point since the deep freeze is in the garage. So far definitely worth it..my situation freaked by girlfriend out so much about all the loss of food that she bought one to prevent it from happening to hers. Would recommend. Just not sure how long the battery lasts

Works well. I bought two thinking I needed one for the top freezer door and one for the bottom fridge door, but only need one. I used the second one for my basement freezer and put it on the loudest setting. It does the job!

Worked as described. Audible alarm is easily heard.

We just replaced a wine/drinks refrigerator and we found the doors sometimes would be left ajar. I purchased this fridge alarm to at least warn us when that happened. I installed the unit and that same weekend the alarm sounded to notify the door had been left ajar. Great product easy to install, just ensure you correctly space the magnet to the alarm unit.

It's the worst feeling waking up to your morning coffee, going to grab the creamer only to find that the fridge wasn't completely shut last night. Having to Google what you have to throw out when the food reaches 46 degrees(yes - we risked it on some things, and no we didn't get sick). Leaving the fridge open at my house only happens once every several years, but it's so stressful when it does that I figured there must be some sort of alarm out there that we could use. I saw the FRIDGGI and some off brands on Amazon. This one appears to be specifically for the fridge, whereas the off brands appear to be designed to be multi-purpose. This one was a few dollars more, but I wanted something that had a brand name backing it. I did some testing on the counter before I actually mounted it to the fridge, so I had piece of mind. You have different settings that aren't incredibly intuitive, but they aren't so different that you would "choose the wrong setting" per se. It has a pin-point red LED that will light up when you open the fridge and will give you a bit of a chirp nudge when you have it open for a minute. The chirps get louder and more intrusive once you start getting to the 3-5min range and seem to be a steady alarm after 5mins. It's a very good choice of volume, since it didn't really hurt my ears, but at the same time I could hear it from the other room while having my TV (with soundbar) at a normal volume. Perfect for my needs. I was boarder-line disappointed by the range of the sensor. have a side-by-side fridge/freezer, and I mounted both sides of the FRIDGGI to each door. My goal was to have this alarm go off if either the fridge or freezer (or both) were left open. I was able to achieve this, but it's a very specific distance that I need to set. The main unit is mounted, but the smaller piece is attached by magnet and can get knocked out of place (though It hasn't yet). It did come with mounting tape, but that would elevate the smaller piece and change the distance. If it gets knocked out of place, I may use the mounting tape. For now, I'm satisfied with the setup, since it's high enough up that it may never happen.

Working well so far. I followed the instructions but after mounting, it immediately stopped working and had to be removed and replaced to get it to work again. Doesn’t seem as loud as the claims. We’ll see how it goes.

Mi nevera tiene un sensor que apaga la luz cuando detecta que la puerta está cerrada y además emite un pitido cuando lleva más de un minuto detectando que está abierta. El problema es que el sensor detecta que la puerta está cerrada cuando realmente no lo está y falta un centímetro para estarlo. Total que en varias ocasiones me la he dejado abierta y al confiar en el pitido pues pensaba que estaba todo bien, y no ha sido hasta la hora, las dos horas, o toda la noche que me he dado cuenta de que había quedado abierta. Decidí probar este dispositivo que con paciencia y colocándolo cuidadosamente es capaz de detectar si la puerta se queda abierta un solo milímetro. El sonido que emite es muy fuerte, puedes elegir cada cuanto quieres que pite y la intensidad (tiene 3 intensidades y 3 modos de pitido). Además, la pila parece que va a durar. Y lo mas importante es que cumple su función, desde que lo tengo puesto no he dejado nunca la puerta abierta. Por último, el adeshivo que trae es muy fuerte, no lo pegues hasta que no estes seguro de que está a la distancia que necesitas!

Great little device, a lot smaller than I expected, but does the job. I like the fact it makes a little bleep when you first open the fridge door, it's a good reminder that it is still working. It can be slightly fiddly to get the spacing correct at first, but once setup, it works well. Much better than other solutions I've tried.
