This is super well packed. I opened the pacakage and there was not the slightest trace of truffle fragrance. I unwrapped the layered packaging, sort of like a Russian doll, and when I finally opened the jar .... wham! fantastic, rich fragrance. The top of the jar has a soft plastic stopper that plugs the mouth of the jar, and the cap has a finer thread than most, so it really works to keep in the flavor. I recived this on March 6th, 21 days ago, and it remains as powerful as on the first day. I am calculating my Subscribe & Save interval.

This is a wonderful product that lasts a long time because a little goes a long way. The umami that this truffle salt packs is off the charts, I add a pinch to many savory dishes and the fragrance and flavor boost is incredible. My favorite use is on soft scrambled eggs on buttered toast, it's to-die for! Tastes like you're eating a very expensive dish when you've only just added a pinch of this truffle salt, it's fantastic!

WOW! As a first time user I was somewhat taken aback by the smell. It is STRONG! But strong in a good way. You clearly aren’t getting some of that salt lightly dusted and barely edible. I found I enjoy it in scrambled eggs and some pasta dishes. I began by using a small amount & working my way up to the right flavor I desired. I ended up playing around with it quite a bit to figure out what worked for my palate. I suggest to find some recipes online (there are plenty) to help you utilize this amazing salt. I have stored it by making sure the lid is wiped clean so the seal is tight. You smell the truffles strongly through the glass container so after making sure it is a tight seal I put it in a ziplock bag - in fact two ziplock bags - to keep the flavor and smell strong and fresh. You also don’t want to have the scent mix with your other items in the freezer like your ice for instance. Take it out when you want to use it and pack it back up again. It’s in a nice glass bottle and is packed securely and came quickly. It is a good priced truffle salt with good reviews. I highly suggest this brand.

Best truffle salt of all time!

This is really great truffle salt!! First of all, it seems that anyone writing a bad review about how awful this smells has also never used a truffle product.. that's really unfair to give low stars for that. This smells like truffles do, I will admit it I don't find that its an amazing smell per say but I don't find it absolutely terrible either. However I did notice that after opening this and putting it in my cabinet within 24 hours the entire cabinet smelled of truffle. So if you aren't too fond of the smell probably don't want to put it with your normal spices. I followed another reviewers advice of putting it in a freezer bag and then in the freezer and that seems to be the best storage method. There's no lingering smell and the salt is as fresh as day one! I use it mainly for making keto truffle zucchini fries and omg they are just the most delish!!!

I love truffle salt. A great help to improve many dishes from egg to pasta and on. Once I ran out of my truffle salt I looked for the same brand but could not find it. So I tried a couple of other that I promptly returned. Now this one is perfect! Great taste and it does smell like truffle. This rand also make truffle carpaccio so I was hopeful that it would be the one. Yes, it is a winner. A little pricy but it goes a long way and the quality is there. Read the ingredients list. beware of those saying "Truffle Concentrate". To those that in reviews complained about the "smell"...this is what truffle is supposed to smell like. Yes, it is pungent...that is truffle!

I think this is great and adds a nice truffle flavor to popcorn. I bought it explicitly for truffle popcorn. I'm very happy. No complaints.

High quality and excellent value for money. Best sprinkled on some scrambled eggs, pasta or potato gratin to give a luxury edge at a low price. Wonderful taste, clean but fresh smell and incredibly easy to use. My daily go to!

This salt is fantastic. The truffle taste is so strong you don’t need much each time to really elevate the dish making it great value for money. We’ve tried a few truffle products previously but now we’ve found this there’s no going back.
