It's very tight to put on but it serves it's purpose. Seems to be holding up to repeated use in AZ desert.

The product works. Added it to my camelback and have gone skiing a few times in sub-freezing temps and it’s held up and kept the water from freezing in the tube.This thing was impossible to get on at first and after a 1/2 hr I was about ready to give up and call it a loss. Then I tried a method and got it on easily in 5 minutes.Slide a chopstick into the end of the tube to give it firmness and slide the cover over the tube. Using grippy neoprene garden gloves (this is key for grip), push the cover over the chopstick part multiple times until it’s all bunched up where you can’t push. Then pull it straight down the tube until there’s no slack. Push, bunch up, pull. Repeat, takes 5 minutes.

First, the other reviewers were correct, not easy to install. Lots of patience to shimmy it through.I had to cut off about 7” for my platypus Evo, but then the cut end is weak and will start to unravel. Nothing like some marine grade heat shrink tubing doesn’t solve.

This neoprene tube cover was a b*tch to put on!!! My mom and I spent hourssss trying to put these on hers and my dad’s bladderpacks, even though it says it’s a universal fit! I almost threw in the towel and cut it open with a seam ripper and sewed it back up myself to avoid the hassle we went through to put them on the hoses!…but my mom had much more patience with it and killed her hands forcing it on successfully but painstakingly! This product needs to be a bit wider and have more stretch to allow the user to install it properly and easily. This was a royal pain in my ass project that I don’t care to ever repeat on another hydration pack bladder tube!

I really just wanted to hide my red drinking tube with a proper earth tone color. It also provides a measure of insulation so that the first gulp of water isn't too hot or too cold.Installation was pretty easy using soapy water.

The media could not be loaded.  I never knew hands hurt holding something thing. It took me so long to the sleeve on. Every inch was painful to get the sleeve to slide.Hard Labor to get sleeve on.

I was impressed of the quality (stitching, material). Fit my Camelbak perfectly with room to spare. Nice and snug. For those refencing issues with the fitment and/or installing, placing your tube/straw in the freezer for 5-10 minutes prior to the cover will allow for the tube to slide through quick and easy.

No instructions and I can see why people give up installing it. Dry, it grips the tube and will not slide on. Wet it can be worked onto the tube a little at a time by bunching it up and smoothing it out over and over. Trust me, it is a good thing that it fits so tight.

I only just installed this insulator but it seems very good. At first I thought it was too tight, it takes a small amount of effort to install, but I quickly realized it is exactly the right size.

Hard to get on but managed it in less than 30 min. Seller should include the maximum allowable tube diameter to avoid unhappy customers. Did not fray or unravel while wrestling with it

I used this while snowshoeing and skiing. Water froze in the entire tube. The neoprene foam is very thin and this product is not suitable for any winter activity. Look elsewhere.

Make sure the insulation will fit your water hose …
