Good traditional salt and pepper glass pourers. Good quality at a cheap price.

I bought these very traditional ( old fashioned?) salt and pepper pots because I got sick and tired of the far more modern (and expensive)ceramic pots having that stupidly small, impossible to fill little hole in the base with the equally stupid plastic plug that keeps falling out dumping the contents all over the table! My mum had salt and pepper pots like this back in the sixties. Are they pretty? No. Are they “ trending”? No. Are they easy to fill? Yes! Do they keep the contents on the inside? Yes! Are they good value for money? Yes! Finally. Are they functional? Yes very! I rest my case.

I just wanted a basic salt pepper set with plastic lids as metal lids can rust over time. These are a good size & are quite sturdy. Only time will tell if the plastic lids last well.

Using these is like going back in time but I have to say that the salt works better with the plastic top as the salt rots the mettle tops and falls back inside making the salt look nasty with rust like spots mixed in.
