I finally found the perfect Beanie for my Florida climate cap needs. It's perfectly made, light weight and doesn't get in my way as an outdoor photographer. I just ordered in another color to act as an alternate. I recommend the cap to everyone without reservation. I just received the green version of the hat. I've always had a rather large head. In fact, my older brother called me "Watermelon Head" for many, many years. I'm over all that now because I have finally found the right hat for me. The Sterkowski Docker Leon Beanie Cap! As a 54-year-old bald guy, I can't wear a fedora like Harrison Ford or a Stetson like John Wayne or a Pork Pie Hat like Lester Young. The brimless Docker Leon Beanie is absolutely the perfect solution! It's kind of a cross between Thelonius Monk's skull cap, Vic Tayback's rolled up Navy hat, and the classic beanie. But this cap is more substantial, more understated, more ... well ... manly. Fits perfectly. Looks quietly stylish. My wife loves it so much, she's ordering the wool version for my birthday. Shipping took a little longer than I'm used to with Amazon, but that's because my hat was coming from Poland. One look at the craftsmanship and I knew it was worth the extra couple of weeks. This is a very well-made lid, especially for the price! You'll see similar docker beanies here with those hideous adjustable bands on them. You don't want one of those. Trust me. You'll want a Sterkowski, and you'll want it to be exclusively yours. Pay attention when you're measuring for size. Follow the directions and you'll get a great fit. I did (and that doesn't usually happen). What can I say. I never got excited about hats. Until today.

Bald guy here. Looking for a nice modern lightweight summer hat fabric that didn't make me look religious. Went for this hat because images showed it would sit at the top of my head nicely. Looked forward to it arriving and now that I have tried it on saw that it came in a size way to big for my head. Instead will have to suffice with the baseball hat that hides my face. Recommend you purchase a size smaller or take a $36.00 hat and put it in the washer and dry it on hot setting to see if it will shrink. I will be returning it because I don't want to destroy a $36.oo hat.

Outstanding fit and quality as always

This hat came in on time and fit as expected. I ended up returning it as my wife said I looked like a monk wearing it. So based on that stellar response I returned it.

Wonderful hat, highly appropriate for religious wear... a fun context in which to exercise vanity...and am truly tested when congregants compliment its appearance. Thankfully, I anticipate it will shrink in warm wash; this fathead only needs 7 3/4.

At 30 dollars shipped and all this FITTED hat is an absolute steal !. I started with the Wool docker and enjoyed the feel more than the look. I figured I should order a few cotton caps for such a low price. I love how it just marries your skull unlike a knitted cap that squeezes your head and hair and gets itchy moving around. THis is just a comfy cap that will be handy doing yardwork or lazing around the house . This is a quality cotton with a doubled band around kind of like a sailors cap. The panels are all sewn with precision and not a stitch out of place. You're getting some love in the labor. Pride in manufacturing is like finding a unicorn and here it is. I have to say that all but one of my Sterkowski hats are perfect ...even the flawed one is incredibly built . If you buy only one hat in this life , make it a Sterkowski. Not the most expensive but definitely among the best.

Eine schöne leichte Mütze! Sehr gut verarbeitet, mit Baumwollefutter innen und weicher, trotzdem formstabiler Baumwolle aussen - bequem und chic! Größe 56 passt genau, für diese Qualität hat die Mütze einen guten Preis. Ich hatte die für meinen Mann bestellt, der unter Chemotherapie nun doch nach und nach seine weisse Haarpracht verliert - zum Schutz, falls er ihn in Gesellschaft Mal brauchen sollte. Die Mütze steht seinem schmalen Gesicht sehr gut, betont seine wachen Augen, sieht pfiffig aus, gefällt ihm. Danke für diese schöne Mütze!
