Perfect for High-Heat Cooking Situations
I use the Comsmart BBQ heat-resistant gloves on my food trailer, and they work great. They provide solid protection when handling hot grills, pans, and other high-temperature items. The gloves are comfortable to wear and give a good grip, which makes it easier to handle hot equipment safely. They definitely help when working around high heat during busy service times. Overall, these are reliable gloves that do exactly what they’re supposed to do. A great addition for anyone grilling or working in a food truck or kitchen.

They work great for high temperatures
I absolutely love these, I bake at high temperatures and these work great. They are long so I don’t have the worry about burning my arms and the grips help to hold my Dutch ovens.

Now I can play with burning things!
I bought these for camping to handle firewood and other hot things. I used to use a pair of heavy duty suede utility gloves but wanted something that would allow me to hold a red hot log longer. I bought the long ones to protect above the wrist a little more. Pros: I think these are ambidextrous. The pattern isn't the same on both sides, but the insulating factor seems to be. Yes, you can pick up a red hot log & hold it for more than 2 seconds. The silicone makes em grippy. Cons: They are a "soft" knit. They don't seem to be very durable against snags & such, so they don't seem very durable. The one size is huge. I am a plus sized 6 ft tall gal with long fingers and they were quite large on me. I cant see someone with small hands finding these super useful as they will be swimming in these one-size-fits-all gloves. Combining the oversized nature and the thickness, there is very little tactile function to these gloves. Summary: If you don't mind replacing these after some use (they are cheap enough) and don't have small hands, these are quite heat resistant and lives up to its promise so you can play with your campfire more.

Very well made and nice to use
They look HUGE when compared to your hands, but they fit great on the inside! I used these when I was doing a crafts project with a baking pan, molten plastic, and a blow-torch. They protected me very well! Love the design aesthetic for the silicone dots and flames. They stick up far enough that no surface of your skin gets burned or even slightly hot. Very flexible. No range of movement is impacted. Very easy to get on and off. They even have a nice little hanging hook loop. The inner mesh material and weave is exactly the same as you'll find on professional gear. I've used both.

Great value & Works as described!
5 straight hours over a flat grill. 40#'s of chicken, 250 pork chops, 30#'s of burger. These gloves worked as described. At one point I used tongs that were all metal and were a bit slippery so I grabbed a pair of tongs that had silicone on the handle and worked so much better. The splatter never went through the glove and the long sleeve of the glove was a bonus. Now, when I went to clean the grill I between meats with water and spatula the I definitely felt the warmth of the steam. Had to remove the glove right away but once I found that out I was more careful. Get this glove it's just about perfect!

Heat Proof
These gloves are very good. I use them for our wood fireplace and I can honestly say I can easily place wood on a burning fire and feel no heat at all. They are comfortable and have very good grip.

Don't believe the hype
Not sure if I got a defective pair or what but the 1400+ degree heat rating was not accurate for me. I could feel heat AND started getting a slight burning sensation while seasoning my griddle at 450ish degrees. The sizing is also quiet large which makes them inconvenient to put on and take off frequently. Going to try another brand and see how it goes. Going forward for future buyers be mindful of the heat rating and sizing. If you are someone with smaller hands and/or sensitive skin I'd look elsewhere.

Not sure how they came up with something as precise as 1473 F, but be that as it may, bottom line is that these gloves *do* seem to be quite heat resistant when dealing with very hot BBQ pans, grills etc. Fit well for me. Am reasonably happy with them. Little loop at the wrist so that they could be hanged up easily would have been icing on the cake!

These are great. They obviously work as advertised since I still have full use of my fingers and hands to write this review. If for some reason my dog eats them, someone steals them, or they somehow just fall apart after a few decades, I would absolutely buy them again. If they however catch fire or burn through at some point then I would probably hesitate to recommend them. That hasn't happened, so a 5* review and happy barbecue meat eater here. I wouldn't wear them to grab and flip burning logs in the fire pit, but for everyday barbecue use to protect the hair on your wrists and arms from burning or to grab stuff off the grill or move great chunks of meat around while cooking, they're awesome. Get some. Bare handed barbecuing is only novel for a little while. You won't lose man points if you wear some bbq gloves.

Great for barbecue. Great coverage of hands and arms, and protect against very high heat.
