My daughter is 5 6” and the costume fits quite well. Kind of like a coat material wise and quite warm. Just so you know the wings are not fully attached to the costume so they are kind of attached like a cape with the hood attached and the wings like a cape attached to the hood. The bat thumbs are the cutest pare of the costume.

This is a cute costume & nice quality. Could be dressed up or made more casual, and comfortable if you get the right size. I love the webbing & how you can spread your wings; the ears have cute tufts of fluff. Here's what you need to know before ordering:1) it runs small. I'm normally a small to medium top. Since this can be worn as a dress, I ordered medium. It was uncomfortably tight all over, and even the hood was too small.2) it's very warm. This is great if it's a cold day/night, but it would be unbearable on a warm Halloween, and we get many of those where I live.I ultimately returned it & chose another costume, but I would consider trying a large next year.

I saw many reviews that said you might want to size up but in my case it fits almost perfect! Just a little bit big for me but a large would have been a little too small. I’m 5’2 so it was a little bit long on me. I think this bat costume is absolutely adorable and the ears on the hooded part is too cute! The bat wings aren’t attached to the dress part, just the arms, so it’s more like a cape. When you move your arms (more like your wings) the dress won’t move up and down! Super nice and cozy!

I love this costume. Well made, super cozy and cute. Only thing is I made a mistake listening to others say to size up. I normally wear a xl but sized up to xxl and it is very big on me. I am going to work with it since it is so close to my party. I would definely pick your ture size. I am 5'5 and weigh 160 lbs.

I'm 5'9, 135lbs, and ordered a medium – my usual size. The fit was snug, especially in length. If you're tall, consider sizing up once, maybe even twice. The sleeves were too short, and the overall length left little room for those with a prominent butt. I tossed on some biker shorts so I didn’t have to worry about it riding up. The material was not very elastic but it was itchy, requiring an under layer. It did keep me warm though. The costume's hair was cheap, but a good brush improved its appearance. Decent for a one-time event, but I'd explore other options if time allows.

Very cute and comfy! Perfect for cold weather. It is a little short but nothing tights won’t fix. The fabric is very thick and soft.

I feel that this runs true to size. I usually wear a large and since costumes usually run much smaller I went up to an XL .. now it’s a little too big I wish I had ordered my normal largeI used a wire brush and gently brushed it and it’s fluffy and oh so cute! Love it!! Would recommend.

This is made of a felt type material but was cozy on a chilly night. The hood fit perfectly for the bat effect. The sleeves were a little short but that worked out fine for grabbing foot to eat or washing hands. Maybe a bit smaller than I would have picked but it worked great overall .
