NobleEgg Egg Timer Pro | Perfect Soft Hard Boiled Eggs | No BPA, Certified

After 5 years with my first egg, I bought a second egg gen 2 which is thicker, durable and colorful. My husband use to burn water but never a hard boiled egg. This was for him to use and it works. Cooks, kids or husbands it’s a must have 101 for cooking hard boiled eggs. Color change and egg has a marker that tells you range from soft to hard boiled. Get it. Well worth and pro 2 will last years to come.

This is an updated review after I exchanged the egg for a different one. The first one I had did not accurately work but customer service was amazing and helped me exchange it for a different one- and it works perfectly. I had seen so many positive reviews on this egg and thought I had to have it. I have a gas stove and the cooking time on hard boiled eggs to be the way we all like to eat them seems to vary depending on the day, weather, whatever. It was a pain to do the guess and check method all the time, and a waste of some eggs (which the dogs loved, haha). Using the egg timer took a lot of the guess work out. We like our eggs very hard boiled so I just leave them in a couple minutes past the time the egg turns all the way colored and they are perfect every time. I also found that if I do them in smaller batches (6-8) the timer is much more accurate! I'm so happy I gave it a second try because it is super helpful, not to mention cute! I would recommend this timer to anyone who cooks hard boiled eggs, it takes the guess work out of cooking so you get perfect eggs every time no matter what style of hard boiled eggs you prefer. The customer service is wonderful, emails were always responded to within 12-24 hours and they are easy to understand. They truly want to make sure you have a positive experience.

Eggs cook perfectly. No guessing or fussing Put it in with the eggs and let them cook to desired type. Easy to read as the color changes. It looks cute My eggs cook perfectly every time. Would recommend.

Worked fairly well but the top split after a few months. For the price it was totally worth it (I've spent more on a single dink in a bar) but I probably won't buy another one. ***UPDATE 09/17/2020*** I gave it an extra star because the seller reached out after my review and offered to send me a new one. They want to stand behind their product and that's just great customer service. Maybe I'll give it another go and see how it does. ***UPDATE 10/05/2020*** They did indeed send me a new one. It works very well and shows no signs of the same issue that the other one had. I'm more than impressed with their customer service! Thanks!!! ***UPDATE 11/25/2020*** After almost 2 months of fairly regular use, it's still working well. It looks like I got a defective one. I'm very happy with this product and it's performance. ***UPDATE 2/14/2021*** Since these guys were so great about standing behind their product, I decided I should give one last update. It's still working very well. I use it a few times a week and it's still holding up great. I can confidently say that my original version must have had a freak defect because this one shows zero signs of having anything wrong. I have it a fifth star for being a workhorse and doing its job without fail.

The NobleEgg Egg Timer Pro is such a clever and useful kitchen tool! It takes all the guesswork out of boiling eggs by gradually changing color as the eggs cook, so you always know when they’re soft, medium, or hard boiled. It’s very easy to use—just place it in the pot with your eggs and watch the indicator. I also appreciate that it’s BPA-free and feels well made. Since using it, my eggs come out perfectly every time. Highly recommend this for anyone who loves perfectly cooked eggs without the hassle!

My husband and I tried this last night, and it worked like a dream! Both of us gave up make hard boiled eggs years ago because we just weren't good at getting the timing right. They were either too dry with that green ring or not done enough. When I went on the FODMAP diet as my doctor suggested, I started looking on Amazon for egg timers and found this little gem. After watching the videos, I was hooked, after reading the reviews, I chose to go with the "Pro" timers. I am disabled so I showed my husband exactly where I wanted there to be a little red left on the timer, and he took the eggs out of the water at the right time and put them in cold water. I was able to remove the shell and mix one with tuna and mayo for lunch on a bed of romaine lettuce with cherry tomatoes and aged cheddar cheese. The egg was done perfectly!! Not dry, no green ring...just a beautifully done egg. I'm glad they come in two packs so I can order another set with one gets old and breaks, I can order another set. What a genius idea! It's the simple things in life! To have hard boiled, or even soft boiled, eggs again. Amazing!!

Works like a charm

“I love the updated chicken egg timer, especially the high-contrast design. One packaging idea: make the little box look like a chicken coop! Then the packaging becomes a cute permanent storage box for the timer instead of something customers throw away.”

I love this thing. I tend to set my eggs to cook and forget about them and then have literally zero idea how long they've been cooking. This thing saves me from under cooked eggs, and warns me when I've overcooked them, and if I actually pay attention helps me get the absolute Perfect boiled eggs. The one I got the colouring is a bit off center but that doesn't prevent it from doing its job. It took me a few tries to figure out what level is exactly what I want in an egg. I find if I take them out when there's just the slightest hint of red in the middle its fully cooked, maybe even a little over cooked by the time you douse them in the ice bath but not to the point of being green or overly dry. I've never tried but I feel like if you took them out when it was in the soft boiled area, the whites wouldn't be fully set. Overall, it works exactly the way it needs to, but the eggs are a little more done than you might expect.

At last a reliable timer , a bit pricy but does an excellent job, I like soft boiled and this timer is great

Ok

No me gustó, desprende olores y sabores tóxicos
