Fiv/fil double cat test kits

Easy Test to Administer BUT "T" line Difficult to See
Very good quick test to see if your cats have FIV or Fe Good and rapid test for cats with suspected FIV or FeLV. We had our economic Vet administer the tests. The "C" line is easy to see but the "T" line indicator of being positive for disease is very difficult to see. I ended up using an illuminated 5X magnifying glass to make sure the "T" line was indeed there. A non-vet could do this test but since blood is being drawn (only a drop or two is needed) we involved out vet. FeLV is so contagious and now we know who to vaccinate and who already has FeLV and needs to be nutritionally enhanced for longevity. Great test and great service; can recommend this test and seller highly.

Excellent test when used correctly!
Not sure if this is a slight positive or artefact. The lines are very faint compared with control. Used whole blood so will repeat with serum before sending to lab. Cat is healthy. I contacted Simplytests and they said my drops of blood were too large. Should have used the small pipettes and not syringe when adding drop to test wells. Repeated test correctly and it gave. a normal result for both. Excellent customer service.
