Cutnell and Johnson has been the #1 text in the algebra-based physics market for almost 20 years. PHYSICS 9e continues that tradition by providing superior support students need to facilitate a deeper level of conceptual understanding, improve their reasoning skills and see the relevance of physics to their lives and future careers. Research studies have shown that there is a strong correlation between time on task and student learning gains. PHYSICS 9e with WileyPLUS offers instructors innovative new tools for engaging students. Through the use of a proven pedagogy that includes integrated reading activities, instructors are able to much more effectively monitor student reading and progress, resulting in a higher level of student engagement with the course content. Success in physics is also based on practice. Working high quality problem sets is one of the best ways for students to learn physics. However, to get the greatest benefit from working problems students need immediate feedback and expert coaching. PHYSICS 9e with WileyPLUS offers an extensive and tested set of assessment questions and sophisticated wrong answer feedback. Access to WileyPLUS not included with this textbook. This text features Review: Good book for AP physics - I ordered rental for my 10 grade son. The book is used but quality is pretty good, I have a question: after he finished, how could I return ? I canโt find process from your web? Review: Fast shipping and came in great condition - The book was shipped the next day and arrived two days later. It was in great condition- no writing or highlighting, no torn pages. The only drawback was that there were no resources at the end of the book normally found in other college textbooks, like the glossary and answers the odd-numbered questions. I paid $35 to rent this book, and it was worth every penny. At this price, it beats scavenging eBay/Half.com and desertcart for purchase and then trying to sell it when you're done with the class.

First rate textbook
Excellent text book! Every section concludes with a "Check your Understanding" set of questions, and also a "Focus on Concepts" sections. These can be done in class and reviewed by the instructor; the calculation problems at the end of the chapter can be assigned for homework. The solutions manual is also excellent!

I would rather chew on handfuls of rocks than to recommend or read this depraved book again.
This is a terrible and utterly horrific excuse for a physics text book. It should just be re-labeled and sold as a Calculus text book. It is EXTREMELY MATH HEAVY and contains virtually no guidance or a single comprehendible understanding of any physics concept. One of the most dense textbooks I have ever personally read. I learned more about physics through self learning like Youtube and wikipedia than I did from this book. The material is essentially incoherent in comparison to any other physics text book out there. This book did nothing but confuse and twist fundamental concepts that should be more simple to understand. I can genuinely say this book brought nothing but anguish to my life. I would not recommend this book to anyone, even if it was the last book on Earth. In fact, I would destroy this book so not a single soul would ever have to experience the contempt and frustration I felt.

Very dense text
This is the older edition of one of the most popular algebra-based high school physics textbooks in the US. This book covers a lot of material - about 1,000 pages of small text, with lots of good examples drawn from technology, the sciences, and the world around us. I enjoy tutoring students from it (I previously used Knight, "College Physics", another algebra-based approach). The only thing I don't like about this textbook is the small point size of the text - unnecessarily difficult as one's eyes get older.

On time, in great condition
Great price, prompt delivery and the book is in great condition. Cutnell writes good books however I prefer Giancoli. I ordered this due to a specific requirement.

Expensive wihtout online access code to WileyPlus
For total cost of $188(with shipping + tax), it was just too expensive for a book without code to access online portion (Wiley Plus) for my physics class.

The text is great at breaking apart concepts so beginning physics students can follow along. And there are plenty of examples to solidify concepts if you have trouble understanding them the first time. Overall, I'd say this is a great textbook.

really good ocnditios.
The delivery has been a beat difficult but the problem was not related with the firm. It was related with the post company.
