Emergency rations
Great quality, tried the cereal/oatmeal dry as a snack, it was excellent. Also tried the mashed potatoes, just like homemade

Maltodextrin...Ugh...
Maltodextrin is in most packages in this kit. Modified food starch is also in there. When we heard "no msg or corn syrup", we expected more wholesome ingredients. The food looks tasty for something prepackaged, and it smells amazing, but we needed to "doctor it up" to add more flavor. This would be glorious to have for an absolute emergency, but that is the only time we would use these foods.
