I found it takes a bit of pressure to turn on, off, and alternate between LED light options. I also have difficulty distinguishing between the medium and high intensity settings; however, I found the slow strobe and fast strobe options easily recognizable. Although the tail light comes with a lifetime guarantee, there is no information detailing what that means. Does that include the internal rechargeable battery? does that cover the rubber strap for attaching the unit to a bike? does it include the USB cable? -- these are things that I have found vulnerable with such items in the past. It would be nice to have clarification in writing with the information packaged with the unit. Lastly, two features that I would like to see in a tail light are: i) an indicator of low battery so that one is not caught out at night and the unit suddenly goes down (I have seen this feature on a headlight that I own, and I believe that Lzne may have this feature in one of their tail lights, and ii) an automatic shut down feature when the bike motion is inactive after some minutes (ideally, time programmable by the user; there are too many times that I have forgotten to turn off my tail light with the result of running down the battery. The tail light appears to be all that it is advertised, was delivered quickly, seems of good quality, and is priced competitively. So, I am giving it 5 stars on my first impressions. I will update this account if, with time and usage, there is some variation to report. I look forward to using my tail light on my upcoming dusk/evening rides. Review: Great Lights - Magnus Innovation has a product to be proud of. Let me first start off with the packaging. The unit containers are both elegant and sturdy, almost desertcart proof, and it makes one want to keep them for other uses! The contents are designed by Magnus, made in China and assembled in America by Goodwill of Central Texas. The materials and the craftsmanship are top notch. The lights have multiple functions from bright to medium and steady to flashing. I have a unique application, in that they are installed in my Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) aka Golf Cart as interior lights for night time trips around the neighborhood..They are clip-on, no holes to drill, and you can put them wherever you like. I have two under the dash, and two in the overhead on medium brightness. They provide a pleasant red ambient light that both shows where the foot controls are and also the people inside. This is a big plus when stopping to talk to friends and neighbors. I intend to order another twin pack, which contains two lights and a split USB cable for charging two lights at once, just for the nighttime safety of our bike rides. Great Product!!

Be careful - Light turns off with vibration
After 3 weeks useage and using the "Adjustable Silicone Quick Release Rear Mounting System" 3-4 times, it broke. The worst part about these lights it that if I hit a bump on the road, they turn off. Considering it is a rear light, it is hard to safely check without completing stopping, which is annoying. Most days I get home and realize that the back light is off. When it is on it seems like a great light, but the strap and stability are a major issue. You end up riding with no lights since minor bumps switch the light off. I have the light mounted under my seat just like in the bike and I guess somehow the vibration turns it off.

Bought this to replace a weak non-rechargeable tail light I had.
My old tail light died after a year, and I was about to buy the same one again, but then decided to go the rechargeable route. This one is actually brighter than my old on, even though its actually smaller. I like that it is removable from the holder so I can charge it easily without removing the entire thing. The fact that it is a multi-purpose clip is also nice. I havent used it on anything except my bike but Im sure if I needed to, this would be great for it. It has 4 light modes. 1. High (one click) 2. Medium (two clicks) 3. Slow strobe (three clicks) 4. Fast strobe (four clicks) The high and medium are basically the same and there is a negligible difference in the two. So if you dont like the strobe, just leave it on medium to save battery. The Slow strobe is fine and flashes in a simple single flash pattern. The fast strobe is the main one that I use, and it flashes in a double flash pattern (1-2.....1-2.....1-2....etc.) It says the battery life on the fast strobe is also the best, but I cant comment on the battery life yet. Ive used it every night for nearly 2 weeks and still havent needed to charge so thats really nice. It arrived completely dead and only took about an hour to fully charge. One thing I do like a lot about this light, other than the fact that it is rechargeable, is that the last light mode you use when you turned it off will be the same one when you turn it back on. I didnt think this would happen at first and because I only use the fast strobe, I was thinking that it was gonna be really annoying to cycle through every single light mode every time I used it. But as long as I leave it on the fast strobe, thats the only one it stays one, which is really nice. This is virtually a perfect product. and I love it as it has proved to be very useful during the winter and when it gets dark really early. So why only 4 stars? Well I have a small concern with the build quality. To turn on the light, you press down on the bulb. But the presses feel very flimsy. A single press (depending on the amount of pressure you put) can range anywhere from 1 to 3 clicks deep which just doesnt make a lot of sense. What are all the extra clicks? It feels like Im breaking it every time, even though Im not. If it were just one single deep click, thatd be fine. I dont get all the random clicks, especially when they vary due to pressure. Aside from the weird extra clicking, this is a great product and makes me feel much safer at night. Highly recommend.
