More open sound than a 4C
I am a relatively new player on saxophone but I feel that I will be progressing through larger opening mouthpieces in short order. As I explore my sound, I can eventually see myself landing on a very expensive mouthpiece in a year or so. Meanwhile, every tutor has told me that the Yamahas are a safe and good playing mouthpiece. I concur and I can progress on a reasonable budget through the different offerings. A safe choice for beginners.

Quality mouthpiece definitely worth the price. You get what you pay for.
Quality mouthpiece. My son dropped his old one and it chipped. The Yamaha is considerably more expensive than the no-name brand options, but like most things, it is well worth the price difference, especially if you are a serious musician. You can feel the quality in the weight and sound of the piece. You get what you pay for!

High quality sound and much easier to play than the mouthpiece that came with my saxophone. And they budget friendly option that has professional sound.

Best Alto Sax mouthpiece yet. I’ve gone through a few alto mouthpieces but the 4C is for sure my favorite. The sound on the 4C is very clear and great for playing classical and jazz!

I'm Just Starting To Learn
I bought a Alto Saxopone for a price that I never thought possible. The quality of the instrument is higher then the price, which is a pleasant surprise - (Available on Amazon: Eastar AS-II. It has good reviews, along with a couple other imported saxophones). It came with a similar mouth piece, (I never realized that there could be so many differences in mouth pieces), however the same pros who recommend the Sax, also recommended switching to this Yamaha mouthpiece. They indicated it's a quality mouthpiece that is both good to learn on and could really be the mouthpiece you keep for life, even though it's very affordable! I'm just starting to learn, but this is one more thing I don't have to think twice about and I like good advice from Pros!

Not just for beginners. This is a great mouthpiece for the money.
Fantastic mouthpiece for a budget price. 66 year old sax player that’s been playing since middle school. That’s a long time. I play regularly twice a week at church in the worship band. I used to play a C* long ago. I got this Yamaha AS5C and for me, Vandoren Jazz #2-1/2 and #3 reeds are a perfect, free playing matchup. Low range to high is great with fantastic intonation. I enjoyed the first one that I bought to use with my JeanPaul AS400 alto sax so much that I bought another one for my 1968 vintage Selmer. Fantastic tone and playability for little money. You don’t have to spend big money to get great results.

Il bocchino yamaha 4C non ha bisogno di recensioni perché è ottimo come tutti i prodotti Yamaha. Volevo invece fare i complimenti al venditore per la serietà e professionalità. Ho ricevuto il bocchino con due giorni di anticipo rispetto alla data prevista ed era confezionato in modo tale che sarebbe stato a prova di tsunami. Felice per l'acquisto mi sento di consigliarlo tranquillamente.
