Veracity USA Outreach Lite POE-Powered LAN Extender (100m ext. - no POE Out) VOR-ORL

Love the product!! This simple to install, breakthrough technology made our non-functioning, last-mile Internet signal strong and robust by magnifying and extending it beyond the traditional 328 foot barrier due to Ethernet signal attenuation. We had a strong Internet signal at Point A of the sports field that we were trying to get across a 1000ft expanse to Point B (the other side of the field) where we needed to install a router and multiple IP surveillance cameras, but the Internet signal at Point B was so weak due to the limitations of Ethernet, our security cameras could not transmit any signals. Because our cameras required hardwired cables ran out to each of them, signal deterioration was a major issue that prevented us from deploying our solution. However, using 2 Veracity VOR-ORL Outreach Lite Ethernet Extenders, we were able to effortlessly run a single Cat5e Ethernet cable from Point A to Point B, 1000+ ft away from our ISP's fiber modem to where we placed a gigabit switch and ran 12 additional Ethernet cables 300 ft or so out to our 12 field cameras situated at the far end of the field. To this day, our last-mile destination signal is as strong and robust as if the line was 2ft away from our ISP modem, and they're still working outside, nailed to trees, exposed to the elements and freezing winter weather. I have no idea what we would have done with out these handy little devices to break the 328 ft barrier of our Ethernet cables and to minimize signal loss of our long cable run. NOTE, you will need a PoE Injector for the first length of cable to the first VOR-ORL which powers the tiny unit and enables it to retransmit a magnified signal further down your cable run, from there onward, your Cat/e Ethernet cables need not be powered unless your last-mile application requires PoE, ours did not. Highly recommended solution for situations that require extremely long Ethernet runs and with a strong signal at the other end. Once you set it up, you can surf the web, shop on Amazon, watch Netflix or stream IP or RTSP cameras to the cloud without a hitch. That's how we're using these cool little outdoor devices.
