Buzz Lightyear Jetpack

The Buzz Lightyear jet pack really set off my sons costume for Halloween this year. He loves the Toy Story movies, so we knew he wanted to be Buzz for Halloween. We found lots of Buzz costumes but none with a jet pack. Hop on Amazon and a week later my son has a jet pack. It really made the costume. He loves to wear it around the house. For some reason it took a week to get here even with Prime 2 day shipping. But luckily I ordered it in advance and had it a week before Halloween. I don't know how durable this is, we've had it about a week, but for the price it's more than I expected. It is just an inflatable jet pack with Velcro straps that the child wears like a backpack. It seemed to stay in place and needed no adjustments throughout the night even after several hours of walking around the neighborhood trick-or-treating. I don't expect this to last forever, but for now, it's doing great.

Cute addition to a buzz Lightyear costume. My teenage daughter wore them with her homemade buzz Lightyear outfit for Halloween. It definitely completed the outfit! I do feel like they were a little too expensive for the fact that it’s just a blowup item like a pool toy. But it’s such a specialty item. There wasn’t much competition so we had to buy it! I don’t regret it and she looked adorable. And it’s nice that we can deflate it and stick it in the costume bin for another future Disney dress up day at school!

My 3 year old has every single Buzz toy there is, I think. These new wings, purchased as an addition to his Halloween costume, is likely the best yet, although it does annoy him that he can't lower his wings down. The inflation is good and stays for days, but it is a safety hazzard as my son walks all over the house and turns and then knocks stuff over! Thank goodness they are just made of plastic. The only complaint I have is that I wish the back part didn't inflate as much (it sticks really far off his body and makes it impossible to sit with it on) and wish more air went into the wings so they stayed upright better. The purple part of the wings gets no air or inflation, only the red and white striped part and the ends. I hope these wings last a long time because my son wants to wear them all day every day, but at least they are a good price if I need to order a new set.

Bought these as a Birthday present for my little girl who's got a Buzz/Toy Story fixation. She loves them but was disappointed that the pictured cap isn't part of the wings. Not very easy to inflate (we used a pump) but they've been inflated for a week now with no signs of any leaks. The 'jet pack' part inflates something like a beach ball, so it's actually rounded against the back and can be uncomfortable. The two straps are flimsy elastic and hold the pack high up on the shoulders. Again, just be aware that these are the wings and 'jet pack' only. The seller doesn't say that the cap is included so can't blame them, but the pictures suggest that it's part of the wings.

I was unsure how this would hold up because it's inflatable but now I'm so glad it is. My son doesn't care to dress up very much but this jet pack made him excited. He ran around and bumped into people and things and because of the material, it could bend and bump harmlessly out of the way. It's held up just fine through one trunk or treat celebration and I'm pretty confident it'll hold up for trick or treating and other play days. The straps are pretty big but it's so easy to knot them however tightly you need.

The child has to wear these things all the time. I didn't purchase it for halloween, just an impulse for his growing imagination. For some reason I didn't think it was blow up and surprised at the small package, maybe I didn't read that part. The straps are very thin, it will leave marks on an always naked child after a bit - just indents so I make sure he has a shirt on. And be careful undoing the velcro, it will snap him in the face. I would say no more then 4 years old for the size but I'm sure you can get more material and velcro to extend the straps. Cat easily put a hole in it stepping on it but I just put some scotch tape over it and it's good as new.

Bought to go with my 3 year olds Halloween costumer. These wings really hold! He had ripped them off, thrown them, stomped and jumped on them and they have held up! Straps are a little long for him so we tied them up- easy fix and perfect for playtime and Halloween.

Amazing! And to keep them on, you could tie the elastic across the chest under the costume's chest piece. It was pouring rain and the beach ball type of vinyl held up perfectly. Because you blow them up they didn't catch on anything and would easily bend to fit through halls or around doors. She LOVED them.

This is awesome! Can be let down when not in use so easy storage and easily blown up for use. Straps are quite long to go around arms but we wrap around twice and hes good to go!
